South Pacific covers more than 1,000 islands including Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands and Fiji and as such it offers a wide variety of specialities, mostly based on seafood and exotic fruits, with French and Asian influences. Dishes tend to use relatively few spices and often include coconut milk, ginger, lime, vanilla or tamarind. The cuisine is as irresistible as the landscape and the people. In this course, the teacher will cook and enjoy with you some well-known dishes from her trip with ingredients one can find locally, so take a tropical vacation in your own kitchen! Tama’a Maitai!
